Foot Metal Detection Device
The foot metal detection device is a dedicated human-body security screening accessory for passenger security check channels. As a core functional supplement to walk-through metal detectors, it addresses the practical vulnerability of detection blind spots at the bottom of security gates, where micro metal items such as controlled knives, blades, and detonators can be concealed in shoe heels and sole interlayers. Using electromagnetic induction technology, it performs targeted scanning of the feet without requiring passengers to remove their shoes. The device features independent left and right dual-zone sensing modules that accurately distinguish left-foot from right-foot alarms, with LED zone indicator lights visually pinpointing the concealed foot position. Its 255-level sensitivity grading can both filter out harmless micro metals such as shoe studs and metal shoe ornaments and precisely capture dangerous metal objects. Detection supports triple alarms via light, buzzer, and voice, plus a silent mode; a single-person check takes no more than 1 second and does not cause passenger flow congestion. The device can be deployed independently or combined with mainstream security gates, and can be retrofitted into both new and existing channels. Its integrated anti-slip, pressure-resistant housing is suited for high-frequency stepping and long-term reliable operation, and it supports integration into smart security comprehensive management platforms for unified control.
