Intelligent Security Image Judgment for Qinhuangdao Railway Station Section of Beijing Railway Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

The Qinhuangdao Railway Station Section has jurisdiction over multiple stations. During the peak tourist season, passenger flow is concentrated, and security screening tasks face obvious periodic pressure, while security screening resources at each station are relatively dispersed. The project deploys an intelligent security image judgment system for some stations under the Qinhuangdao Railway Station Section. Through the collection and analysis of security screening image data, it enables real-time detection and warning of firearms and ammunition, flammable liquids, explosives, knives, sharp instruments, blunt instruments, military and police equipment, tools, and flammable and explosive items concealed in passengers' luggage.

Through a proprietary image data segmentation method, the system conducts all-round scanning of passenger packages in layers and categories, assisting check-in personnel in quickly locking onto prohibited items. The system is compatible with security screening machines of different brands and can be directly connected on the basis of existing security screening lanes, reducing equipment replacement costs. Using a powerful prohibited item recognition algorithm, the system can accurately identify the components of flammable and explosive liquids carried in passengers' packages, such as alcohol, kerosene, gasoline, diesel, pesticides, paint, perfume, floral water, and various alcohol-containing pressurized sprays, and accurately labels the liquid components, greatly improving the detection rate of liquid items.

Under the multi-station deployment model, each station adopts unified technical standards and operating procedures. Security screening personnel take up their posts after unified training, reducing the cost of personnel deployment among different stations. The system records and summarizes recognition results, providing data reference for the railway station section to uniformly grasp the security screening operation status of each station and reasonably arrange personnel strength.

After the project was put into use, the efficiency of security image judgment and the ability to intercept prohibited items at some stations under the Qinhuangdao Railway Station Section were improved. Security screening work at each station became more standardized and unified, providing strong support for the daily operation of stations along the line and the safe travel of passengers.
